The golden temple of Sripuram is a just not a meretemple but a serene spiritual park sheltered at the foot of small cluster of green hills in a place known as “Malaikodi” in the popular city of Vellore in Tamil Nadu. The temple is more precisely at the southern end of the city of Vellore, at Tirumalaikodi. The salient feature of Sripuram is the Lakshmi Narayani temple or Mahalakshmi temple. The temple is located over 100 acres of land and has been constructed by Vellore-based Sri Narayani Peedam, headed by spiritual leader Sri Sakthi Amma popularly known as Narayani Amma.
LOCATION:-
The nearest railway station is Vellore Katpadi Jn railway station, which is only 12 km distance from Sripuram.
International airports of Bangalore and Chennai are very nearest airports and best for the foreigner devotees and tourists.
Many buses run to Sripuram from Vellore city new bus terminal and some of the buses run from old bus stand (fort) go to Sripuram (Golden Temple). Road transportation also connects the temple from major nearby cities like Bengaluru and Chennai.

HISTORY:-
The temple with its associates is on 100 acres of area and has been designed by Vellore-based Sri Narayani Peedam, guided by religious head Sri Sakthi Amma popularly known as Narayani Amma. The forehead with gold designs has complex designs and art forms in silver. The illumination is organized in such a way that the forehead glitters even during evening. More than 1500 kg of gold was used to build this enormous and equally beautiful forehead. The LED illumination on the variety of the ceiling of the various directions is lit up in the evening so that anyone can observe a celebrity on the world.
ARCHITECTURE:-
Statistically, Sripuram is the biggest Fantastic forehead in the world. All the gold work was done by craftsmen focusing on forehead art using silver.
The temple with gold covering has intricate work done by artisans specializing in temple art with pure gold. Every single detail was manually designed and created, including converting the gold chunks into gold foils and then mounting the foils on copper plates. Gold foil from 9 layers to 10 layers has been mounted on the

Sripuram’s design represents a star-shaped path -Sri Chakra, positioned in the heart of the wide lush green landscape, with a length of over 1.8 km approx. Devotee has to walk along the star path to reach the temple in the middle, which is laid by messages from Sri Sakthi Amma and from different faiths and spiritual leaders all over the world.
PRINCIPLE DEITY:-
The principle characteristics of Sripuram are temple of Mahalakshmi or Laxmi Narayan which is again coated with pure gold both interior and exterior.
TIMINGS:-
The holy temple opens at 4.00 AM and closes at 8.00 PM.
Abishekam – starts at 4 AM to 8 AM.
Darshan – Starts at 8 AM to 8 PM.
Aarthi Seva – Starts at 6 PM To 7 PM.
For those devotees who want to have darshan and have plenty of your energy and patients to take a position in the line, the access is no cost. There are no expenses for the community for access and darshan. However, those who are in rush and short while to go through the regular darshan, there are some unique agreements created for a little fee. One can utilize the available alternatives across the reverse.

Pilgrims need to follow strict rules while visiting Vellore Golden Temple. People are restricted from:
